(ORAL) The petitioner has approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., seeking a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing respondents No.2 and 3 to get release his wife Anchal Sharma forthwith from the illegal custody of respondents No.4 to 7.

Mr. R.K. Choudhary, Advocate, has entered appearance on behalf of respondents No.4 to 7 and filed his power of attorney, which is taken on record.

Learned State counsel has filed status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, CAW, District Palwal, which is taken on record.

CRWP-11366-2024 -24.

In compliance of order dated 22.11.2024, report of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palwal, has been received along with statement of the alleged detenue, who has categorically stated that she was happily and comfortably residing with her family including her parents i.e. the private respondents and she did not wish to live with the petitioner.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the instant petition as the alleged detenue does not wish to accompany the petitioner.

The instant petition stands disposed of.
