The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 19.05.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-14217-2025, whereby without commenting on the merits of the case, direction was issued to the respondent to decide the legal notice dated 24.03.2025 and to pass a speaking and reasoned order thereupon in accordance with law.

In view of the above, since order dated 19.05.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-14217-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 4.
Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to avail remedy as is available to her in accordance with law to challenge the speaking order dated 27.10.2025 (Annexure R-1) passed by the Principal Secretary, Department of Water Supply and Sanitation, Chandigarh. 5.
