Learned State counsel while referring to the status report supported by an affidavit of Superintendent of Police, NRI Wing, District SAS Nagar, Mohali, informs that both the accused against whom offences of criminal breach of trust and cheating are alleged were absconding since long despite proceedings under Sections 82/83 Cr.P.C. having been initiated and concluded against them. It is further informed that final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. shall be filed within two weeks before the trial Court.

In view of the above, no cause survives for the time being and accordingly the petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail whatever remedy is available in law.
