PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking directions to the Rent Controller, Ludhiana to decide the eviction petition filed by the petitioner expeditiously. 2.

Present petition was filed on 5th of January, 2023. Notice was issued to the respondent/tenant for 18th of January, 2023. On 18th of January, 2023 tenant failed to appear and was proceeded ex parte. The matter was adjourned to 13th of March, 2023 for ex parte evidence of the petitioner. On the same day, an application was moved by the respondent/ tenant seeking setting aside of ex parte proceedings. The matter was adjourned to 20th of April, 2023 for filing reply to the said application. On 20th of April, 2023 the application was allowed. Respondent/tenant was allowed to join proceedings. The matter was adjourned to 18th of May, 2023 for filing of written statement by the respondent. CR No.69 of 2024 (O&M) was adjourned to 7th of July, 2023 for filing written statement and thereafter to 31st of July, 2023. On 31st of July, 2023 an application was moved by the respondent for production of documents. The application was allowed on 31st of August, 2023. The matter was adjourned to 28th of September, 2023 for filing reply by the respondent/tenant to the main petition. On 28th of September, 2023 the Presiding Officer was on leave. Same was the case on 21st of October, 2023. The matter was adjourned to 5th of December, 2023. Prior to that on 9th of November, 2023 the landlord moved an application for striking off defence. The matter was thereafter adjourned to 23rd of October, 2023. On 23rd of October, 2023 the Presiding Officer was again on leave. 3.

From the zimini orders, this Court does not find that there is any undue delay being caused in trial. The same is proceeding at reasonable pace.

In view of above, this Court does not find any reason to interfere in the instant revision while exercising jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. Consequently, the same is ordered to be dismissed.
