**** ALOK JAIN, J. (Oral) 1.
The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 0111 dated 09.11.2023 under Sections 452, 325, 147, 149, 341, 379-A and 506 of Indian Penal Code registered at Police Station Sarangpur, District Chandigarh.
2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations levelled in the FIR are false and he has been entangled despite a compromise having been effected between the parties three years ago. 3.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
4.
A perusal of the FIR demonstrates that the petitioner was the main accused who along with five or six boys inflicted injuries on the complainant with iron rod coupled with the fact that there are seven more FIRs pending against the petitioner although he is either on anticipatory bail PARUL 2024.01.16 18:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document or on regular bail in those cases.
2024:PHHC:002235 CRM-M-64029-2023 (O&M) -25.
Considering the antecedents of the petitioner, I do not find it a fit case to extend the concession of extraordinary anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed.
