The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking issuance of direction to respondents No.3 to 5 to hear and consider the version of the petitioner, who is an accused in FIR No.52 dated 03.09.2023, under Sections 306, 506 and 34 of the IPC, registered at Police Station Talwandi Chaudhrian, District Kapurthala, Punjab.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid FIR is still under investigation and the petitioner is an accused and is already on anticipatory bail but the Investigating Agency is not even hearing or considering the version of the petitioner, as the petitioner wishes to assist the Investigating Officer, his prayer is limited to the issuance of direction to respondents No.3 to 5, which may be considered in this regard 3.

At this stage, Mr. Gurlal Singh Dhillon, AAG, Punjab on instructions from Investigating Officer, submits that so far as the

CRM-M-64225-2023 2023:PHHC:164832 -2limited prayer of the petitioner is concerned, the State has no objection in this regard and whenever the petitioner wishes to join the investigation and assist the Investigating Officer, the submissions of the petitioner will be duly considered in accordance with law before submitting the final report.
