This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS (Corresponding to Section 482 Cr.P.C) seeking issuance of directions to respondent No.2 -Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala and respondent No.3- Station House Officer, Police Station Patran District Patiala to expeditiously complete the investigation and file the final report in FIR No. 335 dated 24.11.2024 under Sections 406,420,120-B IPC registered at Police Station Patran, District Patiala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the police are deliberately delaying the investigation.
