The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue him passport.

The petitioner was issued passport on 10.03.2014 which is valid upto 09.03.2024. Petitioner has applied for re-issuance as passport issued earlier, is going to expire on 09.03.2024. Three FIRs have been registered against the petitioner. In one FIR proceedings have been stayed by this Court. The proceedings with respect to two FIR are pending before trial Court.

On being confronted with Notification No. 570 dated 25.08.1993 issued by the Central Government, the petitioner seeks PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.12.20 15:40 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No.28757 of 2023 -2- 2023:PHHC:163577 permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to approach trial court.

Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to petitioner to approach trial court. This Court is sanguine of the fact that trial court would decide application of the petitioner in terms of Notification No. 570 dated 25.08.1993 issued by the Central Government.
