Petitioner Gurmeet Singh Brar alias Meeta has filed petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for quashing of order dated 28.07.2025 (Annexure P-9) vide which application of petitioner to visit Canada has been declined in FIR No. 67 dated 27.05.2009 under Section 498-A, 406 of IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Faridkot, District Faridkot.

Status report filed by the respondent 3 State is taken on record, subject to just exceptions. Copy supplied to the opposite counsel. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, states that he has instructions to withdraw present petition and accordingly withdraws the same.
