Petition, i.e. CRM-M-59586-2024 is filed by the petitioner - Shamsher Singh alias Shera, seeking grant of regular bail, in case, FIR No.102, dated 30.07.2024, under Sections 310(2) of BNS, 25/27 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station Chattiwind, District Amritsar. Petition, i.e. CRM-M-16338-2025 is filed by the petitioner - Harpreet Singh @ Love @ Joban, seeking grant of regular bail, in case, FIR No.102, dated 30.07.2024, under Sections 310(2) of BNS (section 238 BNS added later on), and sections 25/27 of Arms Act (sections 54, LAVISHA 2026.04.06 14:49 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC, Chandigarh

Vide order dated 08.10.2025, while hearing the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties in CRM-M-595862024, this Court had directed the prosecution as well as the trial Court to ensure expeditious recording of the statements of the witnesses. 3.

Today, on the very outset, learned State counsel submits that material witnesses have already been examined and have fully supported the case of the prosecution.

Referring to paragraph No.9 of the status report dated 06.10.2025, learned State counsel further submits that during the course of investigation, accused were identified by the complainant, and during the recording of statements before the Court, such identification has been duly established.

Further submits that out of total 13 prosecution witnesses, 06 have already been examined, while 02 witnesses have been given up. Only 05 witnesses remain to be examined.

In view of the explanation furnished by learned State counsel, this Court does not find any substantial ground to grant the concession of regular bail to the petitioners in the present case, who, by allegedly committing dacoity, have disturbed the peace and tranquility of society. Accordingly, both the present petitions are dismissed. 6.

A photocopy of this order be placed on the file of other connected case.
