(Oral) The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been preferred by the petitioner seeking direction to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent Nos.4 and 7. 2.
It is, inter alia, contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIRs (Annexures P-7 and P-9) were got registered by the petitioner against respondent Nos.4 to 7. As a consequent thereof, the petitioner is facing threat to his life and liberty at the hands of private respondents and in this regard, he had moved the Police authorities many times and finally by moving representation dated 07.12.2023 (Annexure P-10), but till date no action thereon has been taken. He submits that for the purpose of this petition, the petitioner will be satisfied if directions are given to official respondents to consider and dispose of the representation Annexure P-10 in accordance with law in an expeditious manner. 3.
