The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.152 dated 08.09.2025, registered under Section 333 of BNS, Sections 25, 27 of Arms Act (Sections 190, 191(3), 351(2) of BNS, 2023 added later vide DDR No.22 dated 10.09.2025) on at Police Station Cantt. Bathinda, District Bathinda, Punjab.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required in this case.

Learned State counsel has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and, on instructions from HC GEETA RANI 2026.02.13 17:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CRM-M-57747-2025 (O&M) ( 2 ) Navdeep Rai further submits that the petitioner is not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation. 4.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim bail dated 10.11.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
