(Oral) This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the official respondents to remove the illegal embankment constructed by respondent No.9 in his agricultural field which is obstructing the natural flow of rainwater and causing water logging in the adjoining field of the petitioner in Village Chandu Khurd, Tehsil Rajpura, District Patiala. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail his other remedies available under the law. 3.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
