Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the gratuity was received, as is apparent from the letter dated 29.08.2024, produced by learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Bank. He, however, states that a representation dated 07.08.2024, Annexure P-8 has been submitted by him with regard to the amount payable for compulsory insurance, in terms of Section 4A of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, which is pending. He thus, at this stage, on instructions from the petitioner, prays that a direction be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Gaurav Goel Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made. 5.

case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 07.08.2024 within a period of 3 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to her and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to her interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon          !" !
