The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking directions to the respondents to appoint her on the post of Assistant Financial Officer in the category of Scheduled Caste (Ramdasia & Others) (Female).

The petitioner pursuant to advertisement No.5 of 2021 dated 17.08.2021 applied for the post of Assistant Financial Officer in the category of Scheduled Caste (Ramdasia & Others) (Female). In the final result, the name of the petitioner is shown at Sr. No.1 in the waiting list. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that last selected candidate in Scheduled Caste (Ramdasia & Others) (Female) category has vacated the seat, thus, the petitioner being at Sr. No.1 in the waiting list deserves to be considered.
