**** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The prayer in the present Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner which is under threat at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 6.

The learned counsel for the State has referred to the statement of the petitioner recorded before the Court of Civil Judge, District Rupnagar wherein she stated that she is happily residing with her husband. She has also stated that she faced no threat to her life at the instance of the private respondents. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
