In the present petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that due to inadvertent mistake, the petitioner could not apply in the relevant category in which the petitioner intended to compete and after coming to the know the said inadvertent mistake, the petitioner had already approached the respondents by way of the representation dated 09.06.2023 (Annexure P-5) for rectifying the said mistake but, the same is still pending consideration with the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner will suffer irreparable loss in case the selection process qua the post for which the petitioner intends to compete commence, hence, the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 6.
