This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to take action against the private respondents and to conduct a free and fair investigation in FIR No.85 dated 13.08.2023 under Sections 354, 323, 341, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Maloud, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from HC Baljinder Singh, has stated that a cancellation report has been prepared and approved by the Senior Superintendent of Police concerned and the same shall shortly be filed before the Court concerned. 3.

In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the State, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition, at this stage, with liberty to avail his remedies as available under the law.
