Through the instant application, the petitioner seeks the relief of interim bail for a period of one month, thereby enabling him to take care of his father, who is on his death bed because of suffering from Carcinoma (Caner).

In deference to the directions issued by this Court on 08.08.2024, today the learned State counsel has filed a status report, on affidavit of Jatinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Government Railway Police, Punjab, Sub Division Ferozepur, which is taken on record. In addition, he has also filed the custody certificate of the petitioner, as issued by the Superintendent, District Jail, Muktsar, which is also taken on record.

For the reasons assigned in the instant application, coupled
CRM-M-64659-2023 (O&M) with the substantiation lent thereto by the respondent-State in its status report (supra), this Court deems it appropriate to grant interim bail to the petitioner for a period of 15 days.

In sequel, the petitioner is ordered to be released from custody, on his furnishing adequate bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial court concerned, from the period commencing from the morning of 14.08.2024 to the evening of 28.08.2024. On expiry of the above term, the petitioner shall forthwith re-step into the prison concerned and if he does not do so, thereupon the SHO of the jurisdictional police station concerned shall forthwith arrest the petitioner and thereafter, shall produce him before the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned. 5.

Through the instant application, prayer is made for preponing the date of hearing of the main case.

As prayed for, the instant application is allowed. The main case is ordered to be taken on board today itself for hearing. CRM-M-64659-2023 8.
Through the instant petition, prayer is made for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No.20 dated 24.09.2023, under Sections 326, 324, 323, 506, 34 of the IPC (Offence under Section 201 of the IPC added subsequently), registered at P.S. GRP Abohar, District Fazilka. 9.
After addressing arguments at length, when this Court was, taking into account the medical condition of the victim/injured, not inclined
CRM-M-64659-2023 (O&M) to grant the relief of regular bail to the petitioner at this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner opts not to press the instant petition at this stage. 10.
