'8 Present writ petition has been filed for setting aide the letter No.26/22/2016-LR-3/17675-78 dated 29.06.2017 (Annexure P-12) whereby the authorities were restrained to act upon the notification dated 22.12.2016 (Annexure P-10) issued by the Government of Punjab, Department of Revenue, Rehabilitation & Disaster Management, under the Nazool land (Transfer) Rules, 1956. Further prayer has been made for directing the respondents to change the mutation of the society land in the individual name of the members of the petitioner/society as per their share/possession in the land of the society and to delete any restriction regarding the Nazool land, so that land of the members of the petitioner/society be made free from all encumbrances.
