In the present second petition, the prayer of the petitioner is for the grant of regular bail in respect of FIR No. 129 dated 13.11.2021 registered under Sections 406, 420 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Fattu Dhinga, District Kapurthala. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is behind the bars since October, 2022 and trial is not going to conclude in a near future which is causing prejudice to the petitioner as out of total 25 cited prosecution witnesses only 05 prosecution witnesses have been examined so far.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that though the present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the benefit of regular bail but the petitioner will be satisfied in case, directions are issued to the trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same as expeditiously as possible.

Per contra, learned State counsel does not raise any serious objection if the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner for RIYA 2024.01.10 15:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Keeping in view the above, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the next date of hearing fixed before the trial Court. 6.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that keeping in view the above, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further.
