(ORAL) This is a second petition filed by the petitioner seeking the concession of anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.107 dated 14.10.2023 under Sections 420, 406, 506, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Julkan, District Patiala.

No ground is made out to accept the prayer of the petitioner as the previous petition, wherein similar relief had been sought was withdrawn in the following terms as recently as on 24.11.2023:- "4. The petition is dismissed as not pressed, however, in view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel, the petitioner is directed to appear and surrender before the Court below/Illaqa Magistrate within seven days from today and move appropriate application for grant of bail. Till then, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner. The Court below, on such application for bail being moved by the petitioner, shall decide it expeditiously, in accordance with the provisions of law. However, it is made clear that in case the petitioner fails to surrender before the Court below within the above stipulated time period, PUNEET SACHDEVA 2023.12.22 13:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document.
