The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to provide it sufficient land for graveyard of Christian community. 2.

On 26.02.2026, following order was passed:- "State counsel has made a reference to reply filed on behalf of respondents No.1, 2 and 4 and states that vide resolution dated 21.05.2006, Annexure R-2, Gram Panchayat, Kohra, Bhura, (Bhurewala) has reserved land measuring 05 kanals 04 marlas in village for burial for members of Christian community. It has been further stated that vide resolution dated 28.11.2025, Annexure R-3, Gram SUDEEPAK KUMAR 2026.04.29 16:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2Panchayat, Akbarpur, Block Naraingarh, has reserved 01 kanal of land for the said purpose.

Counsel for the petitioner insists that Gram Panchayat is not permitting the petitioner to utilize the land for burial. On his request, list on 29.04.2026."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Panchayat is not permitting to utilize the land for burial.

Faced with this, learned State counsel submits that as and when any hinderance is created by Gram Panchayat, the petitioner or members of the community may approach local administration which would look into the matter and take an appropriate action.

To avoid any mishappening, the local administration is asked to demarcate the area allocated to the petitioner for the aforesaid purpose. 6.

Disposed of.
