(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, is for quashing of FIR No.64 dated 04.02.2021 registered under Sections 406 and 420 IPC (Section 471 IPC added later on) at Police Station Civil Lines Karnal, District Karnal (Annexure P-1) and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom including the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C., dated 21.05.2022, on the basis of settlement dated 30.04.2022 arrived at between the parties. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that there is no compromise in existence between the parties. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition.
