-.- MANDEEP PANNU J. (Oral) CRM-1028-2026 This is an application for seeking permission to add Section 118(2)/121(2) of BNS in the head note and prayer clause of the present petition. Allowed as prayed for subject to all just exceptions. CRM-M-58033-2025 (O&M) 1.
The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.91, dated 18.09.2025 under Section 109, 132, 221, 121(1), 118(1), 115(2), 191 (3), 190 and 324 (4) of BNS, registered at Police Station Nandgarh, District Bathinda. 2.
This Court, vide order dated 10.02.2026, granted the concession of interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, subject to his joining the investigation in the aforesaid case. It has been brought to the notice of this Court that subsequently Sections 118(2) and 121(2) of the BNS have also been added in the present FIR.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 10.02.2026, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated with the investigating agency.

Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and that he is not required for further investigation as of now. 5.
In view of the above and considering the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation, the interim order dated 10.02.2026 is hereby made absolute. The protection granted to the petitioner shall also enure to his benefit with respect to the subsequently added offences under Sections 118(2) and 121(2) of the BNS.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of. 7.
