This is a petition under Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 19.05.2025 passed in CWP-14464-2025 whereby a direction given was to decide the legal notice within a period of 4 months and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents has pointed out that a speaking order dated 08.12.2025 has been passed wherein it was stated that the last salary and payment of GPF had already been released to the petitioner. It was further stated that furlough leave is not applicable and the case regarding payment of leave encashment and gratuity has been forwarded to the Finance Officer. Learned counsel has further pointed out that payment of leave encashment and gratuity is not released as the petitioner has not submitted closure report of his vigilance enquiry. Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that there is no vigilance enquiry pending against the petitioner and in this regard an affidavit would be furnished.

On the needful being done by the petitioner, the amount of leave encashment and gratuity would be released within a period of two weeks. 5.

Disposed off accordingly. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off. 6.
