Through the instant petition, as instituted under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have prayed for issuance of directions upon the respondents No.2 and 3, to ensure protection of their lives and liberty at the hands of the respondents No. 4 to 8. 2.

At the outset itself, the learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice, has, on instructions imparted to him by A.S.I. Mahinder Singh, informed this Court that, the statements of the petitioners have been recorded, wherein, they have clearly stated that they do not have any threat from anybody.

In view of the above made submission, when the petitioners do not have any threat, therefore, no direction is required to be passed at this stage. Consequently, the instant petition is closed. 4.

Disposed of accordingly.
