Learned State counsel refers to para No.8 of the reply dated 25.04.2024 filed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Kartarpur, District Jalandhar, which read thus: "8. That the father of the present petitioner also moved a complaint bearing No. 83/Peshi dated 01.02.2024 to the office of Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural) against the present petitioner and his wife namely Manjit Kaur, in which, the complainant stated that a civil suit is pending in the concerned Ld. Court and stay has been granted in favour of the complainant and therefore, the present petitioner may be refrained from interfering in the alleged land/property of the complainant.
The above-said complaint bearing No. 83/Peshi dated 01.02.2024 was enquired by the then Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarter), Jalandhar (Rural) and during the course of enquiry, it was found that a civil suit was filed by the complainant in the Ld. Court of Civil Judge, Jalandhar and since the matter was sub-judice in the Ld. Court, therefore, the enquiry officer sent a report VISHAL VARDHAN 2025.09.04 19:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order and judgment
CRM-M-65092-2023 (O&M) - 2 - to the office of Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural) recommending therein to consign the complaint bearing No. 83/Peshi dated 01.02.2024 and the same was approved by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural)."
