Through the instant petition, as instituted under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have prayed for issuance of directions upon the respondents No.1 to 3, to ensure protection of their lives and liberty at the hands of the private respondents. 2.

At the outset itself, the learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice, has, on instructions imparted to him by S.I. Kashmir Singh, informed this Court that, the statement of respondent No.4 (father of petitioner No.2) has been recorded, wherein, he has stated that he and his family members do not have any objection to the marriage of the petitioners and the petitioners do not have any threat at their hands. 3.

In view of the above made submission, it appears that the petitioners do not have any threat at this stage, and therefore, no direction is required to be passed. Consequently, the instant petition is closed. 4.

Disposed of accordingly.
