The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking directions to the official respondents to extend benefit of step up of pay in terms of letter dated 22.08.2019 (Annexure P-1) and to decide representation/legal notice dated 27.11.2023 (Annexure P-2).

Learned State counsel, who on advance notice is present in Court, fairly submits that the petition may be disposed of in the light of directions issued by this Court vide order dated 19.06.2020 (Annexure P10) in CWP No.8290 of 2020, Sukhwinder Singh and Others v. State of Punjab and Others. He further submits that representation/legal notice dated 27.11.2023 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law.
