(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondent No.1 (Municipal Corporation, Rohtak) to ensure that the street/road being reconstructed/re-laid by the contractor (respondent No.2), between Circular Road to Tara Hotel Wali Road (as depicted in the site plan Annexure P-1) in Haquiqat Nagar, Janta Colony, Rohtak is reconstructed/re-laid after excavating the existing road at the spot and in such a manner that the level of the road is not raised. 2.

Learned State counsel on instructions from Mr. Mandeep Dhankar, Executive Officer, Municipal Corporation, Rohtak and while handing over a copy of letter dated 06.12.2024 issued by the Executive HIMANI GUPTA 2024.12.11 14:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh

CWP-32310-2024 (O&M) -2Officer, Municipal Corporation, Rohtak, submits that the road/street is being re-laid after excavating the earlier existing road on the spot and that the said road is being re-laid at the same level at which the earlier road was existing. 3.

In view the aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition has become infructuous.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
