Prayer made in the present petition is for directing respondent Nos.2 and 3 to conduct the fair investigation by some higher officials in case FIR No.131 dated 16.04.2023, under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 IPC and Section 24 of Immigration Act, registered at Police Station City Kharar, District SAS Nagar, Punjab.

Learned State counsel refers to para Nos.8 to 11 of the status report dated 01.02.2024 filed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division, Khara1, District SAS Nagar, which read thus: "8. That during the pendency of the investigation of the present case and application for further investigation was received from Ravinder Kumar i.e. father of Gaurav Saini Employee of Indusind Bank. Investigation of the same was marked to DSP Kharar-1, District SAS Nagar and as per investigation report bearing No. 475/5S/D.S.P Kharar-1 Dated 06.06.2023 it has come on record that Gaurav Saini Employee of Indusind Bank had opened the bank accounts of other accused persons in good faith and not with an intention of cheating. Nothing has come on record against Gaurav Saini Employee of Indusind Bank as such he has been declared innocent in the present matter.

That the real name, address, whereabouts or other particulars of Harjit Singh @ Gurjit Singh could not be ascertained during the investigation of the present matter and several raids have been conducted and summons have been issued on the addresses available however investigation could not lead to any fruitful result.

10. That best efforts are being made to identify the accused persons and to locate their whereabouts and investigation in the present matter is going on and report U/s 173 Cr.P.C. shall be filed in competent court of law after completion of investigation.

That whereas the petitioners have stated about the threatening given and building of pressure by accused persons to them, no complaint in this regard has been received by the office of respondents. Further no mode of threatening has been explained by the petitioner. It is respectfully submitted here that it could be of great help in investigation of the present case if any link to accused persons is available. But the incident of threatening has never been reported by petitioners." 3.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed. 4.

Disposed of accordingly.
