Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 24.08.2022, Annexure P-3, whereby the petitioner was relieved from service by the fourth respondent on the ground that Government vehicle of the Institute, where he was working as a Driver, had been transferred to Government Polytechnic, Shergarh, Kaithal. 2.

It is contended by the learned counsel that the petitioner had been working in the Polytechnic at Lisana, Rewari, for the last about twelve years and was relieved ignoring his long service, as also the fact that in near future new vehicle would be sent there. As per instructions, the District Administration, Rewari, has already purchased ten new vehicles, and a few of these have been assigned to the polytechnics as well. The petitioner can be adjusted as driver in any of the Institutes where these vehicles are assigned. Accordingly, he seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to make an appropriate representation to the respondents seeking reengagement as Driver. 3.
