Prayer in the instant petition filed u/s 528 of BNSS is for issuing appropriate direction to the official respondents to take immediate legal action on petitioner's complaint dated 06.02.2025 (P.5) against private respondent No.6, in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.6, who is residing in the same housing society, has illegally displayed Sticker of Government of India on his car (Toyota Innova). It is submitted that respondent No.6 is not a government servant, therefore, he is not entitled to affix the said Sticker. Representation by way of E-mail dated 04.02.2025 (P.5) detailing entire facts was made to the Authorities concerned but no action has been taken thereon so far.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case and in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the DSP, Kapurthala to look into the matter and decide the representation made by way of E-mail dated 04.02.2025 (P.5) expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 04 weeks from today.
