(Oral) Notice of motion, at this stage, to respondents No. 1 to 3 only. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice for the said respondents. Learned State counsel submits that the investigation is near culmination and the final report shall be presented by the police within two weeks from today.

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition in hand with liberty to avail alternative remedy as available in law.
