BHARDWAJ, J (ORAL) Seeking quashing of complaint case bearing No. 4631/2019 dated 11.04.2019 (Registered on 12.04.2019), filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881, including the summoning order dated 12.04.2019 passed by the Trial Court along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom qua the petitioner, the present petition has been filed.

Vide order dated 27.04.2026, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court for some amicable resolution of the dispute.

Pursuant to the aforesaid order, a report has been received from the Mediation and Conciliation Centre that the parties have entered into a settlement on 26.05.2026 and the signed settlement has been put before this Court. The same is taken on RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2026.05.29 18:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document record.

-2In view of the aforesaid, the present petition is allowed. The complaint case bearing No. 4631 of 2019 including the summoning order dated 12.04.2019 passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ludhiana, is hereby quashed. The parties shall remain bound by the terms of settlement. May 27, 2026.
