(ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for directing respondents No.2 to 4 to take action on FIR No.0012 dated 07.02.2023 registered under Sections 447, 427, 457, 511, 506, 148 and 149 IPC at P.S. Maloud registered against private respondents.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Sukhdeep, P.S. Maloud, Police District Khanna informs that the investigation in the aforementioned FIR has already been concluded with the preparation of a cancellation report and the same is pending consideration before the Deputy Superintendent of Police concerned. He further assures that final report shall be presented before the Illaqa Magistrate within a period of 8 weeks from today.

In case, no final report is submitted before the Illaqa Magistrate within a period of 8 weeks from today, the present petition shall be restored automatically to its original number with advance notice to the State. Considering the fact that the FIR in question was TEJWINDER SINGH 2024.01.05 16:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-65466-2023 -22024:PHHC:000519 registered way back in February 2023, the Superintendent of Police, Khanna shall remain present in Court on the said date of hearing in order to explain the delay in the process.
