The limited prayer made in the present rent petition is to expedite the proceedings of the case being CM/199/2023 filed in the main Appeal titled as 'Vishal Virdi vs Pritam Kaur' which is pending before the learned District Judge, SBS Nagar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the stay application filed by the petitioner in the above mentioned appeal is pending for disposal and pendency of the same is causing prejudice to the petitioner. 3.

Keeping in view the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a request to the learned District Judge concerned to decide the matter expeditiously and in accordance with law.
