RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct respondent Nos.1 and 2 to transfer the investigation of the case FIR No.0303, Annexure P-2, dated 26.09.2023, under Sections 336, 341 IPC and Sections 25/27 of Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station `B' Division, District Amritsar, to some senior Police Officer of the rank of IPS as the petitioner is not expecting fair and impartial investigation at the hands of present investigating officer or in the alternative present the status report of the present FIR, Annexure P-2, conducted so far. In compliance of the order, dated 30.04.2024, Status report, dated 12.08.2024, by way of an affidavit of Kamaljeet Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Headquarters, Amrtisar, on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 has been filed today in Court. It has been submitted by learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Baljinder Singh, that during investigation, offence under Section 307 IPC read with Section 120-B IPC was added in the case and all the accused have been arrested and investigation is being carried out in a free and fair manner. It is also submitted that challan under Section 173 Cr.P.C. would also be presented soon.

In view of the status report filed today and the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. Commissioner of Police, Amritsar City, to complete the investigation in a free and fair manner, as submitted, and conclude the investigation in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within one month from today.
