FIR No.0108 dated 14.08.2025 registered under Sections 115(2), 118(2), 191(3), 190, 309(4) of BNS, 2023 at Police Station Sekhwan, District Batala, Gurdaspur The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in FIR No.0108 dated 14.08.2025 registered under Sections 115(2), 118(2), 191(3), 190, 309(4) of BNS, 2023 at Police Station Sekhwan, District Batala, Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has raised lalkara and hit the complainant with stick on the back. There is a delay of 03 days in lodging of the FIR in question and has been lodged only to exert pressure due to civil suit pending between the parties. The petitioner is not involved in any other criminal case and is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required by the investigating agency and will cooperate.

CRM-M-58524-2025 (O&M) -2At this stage, Mr. A.P.S. Rehan, Advocate has entered appearance and filed his vakalatnama on behalf of the complainant which is taken on record.

Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation on or before 28.10.2025. In the event of his arrest, he shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer, subject to compliance of conditions as enshrined under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

However, it is clarified that if the petitioner does not join and cooperate with the Investigating Agency as required by the Arresting/Investigating Officer, this interim order shall be deemed to have been vacated.
