Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus praying for directing the official respondents to trace out, produce before this Hon'ble Court the brother-in-law of the petitioner, namely, Satnam Singh son of Daleep Singh, resident of village Jormajra, Tehsil Samana District Patiala and Jinder Singh son of Soni Ram, resident of Sumailpur, Tehsil Samana, District Patiala, who are in illegal custody of respondents No.3 and 4.

This Court vide order dated 30.11.2024 had appointed the Warrant Officer, who has submitted his report, dated 02.12.2024. On perusal of the same, it is found that the alleged detenues were called for investigation in some complaint and thereafter they were allowed to go. The illegal detention was not found as per the report. 3.

In view of the report of the Warrant Officer nothing survives in the present petition and the same is disposed of as such. January 08, 2025 ( RAJESH BHARDWAJ ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
