This petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 35 dated 07.05.2024 under Sections 420 of IPC registered at Police Station Nurmahal, District Jalandhar. 2.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3.
The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and his wife cheated the complainant and taken Rs. 4 lakhs on the pretext of sending their son abroad but neither their son was sent abroad nor the amount has been returned.
