The present petition is for quashing of impugned order dated 26.04.2014 vide which the petitioners have been declared proclaimed persons in FIR No. 008 dated 02.04.2013, under Sections 420 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station NRI, Moga, District Moga.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have complied with the order dated 25.01.2024 and hence, the impugned order dated 26.04.2014 qua petitioner No. 2-Gurcharan Kaur does not survive.

Admittedly, the learned counsel for State submits that no FIR under Section 174-A was lodged against the petitioners. PARUL 2024.04.02 16:34 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Learned counsel for the complainant has also not raised any objection to the aforesaid facts qua petitioner No. 2. 5.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and since the present petition qua petitioner No. 1 already stands withdrawn, the State authorities are directed to further comply the dicta of the order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in the case of "Darshan Singh State of Punjab and others", decided on 21.12.2022, against petitioner No. 1. 5.

In light of the above, the present petition stands disposed of and the order dated 26.01.2014 is set aside qua petitioner No. 2 only without any impediment upon the Authorities to proceed against petitioner No. 1 in accordance with law.
