RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of direction to the official respondents to take steps for execution of warrant of possession dated 06.09.2022, Annexue P-3, issued by DDPO (respondent No.4) in respect of land measuring 2 kanals out of 10k-19m comprised in Khewat No.549/503, Khatoni No.773, Khasra no.113(10-19) village Chaunta, Block and Tehsil Dinanagar, District Gurdaspur, as period of more than one year has elapsed and warrant of possession has not been actually executed. It is further prayed to direct the respondent/authorities to take possession of the disputed land in accordance with the ejectment order dated 24.08.

2022, Annexure P-1, and not to render illegal help to the private respondents, as till date despite repeated efforts, possession of the disputed land has not been taken by the respondent authorities in spite of the fact that there is no stay in favour of the private respondents. It is further prayed to direct the respondent authorities to decide the representation, dated 29.07.2023, Annexure P-9, given by the petitioners to the respondent MEENU 2024.01.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has already given representation, dated 29.07.2023, Annexure P-9, but no action has been taken on the same till date. Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. On the asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. Heard.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and going through the facts of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Deputy Commissioner, District Gurdaspur, to look into the representation, dated 29.07.2023, Annexure P-9, and decide the same expeditiously preferably within one month from today in accordance with law.
