(ORAL) The petitioners, by way of present petition, seek issuance of directions to the respondents for releasing the amount of compensation for their acquired land in terms of the award dated 11.12.2023 (Annexure P-2) passed by respondent No. 2 (District Revenue Officer-cum-Land Acquisition Collector, Jhajjar).

[2] Notice of motion was issued on 16.10.2025.

[3] At the outset, learned counsel for respondent No. 3 submits that the entire amount of compensation in terms of Award dated 11.12.2023 passed under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, stands deposited with the office of respondent No. 2. [4] Learned State Counsel, on instructions, informs that the aforesaid deposited amount shall be released to the petitioners today itself.
