**** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The prayer in the 2nd petition under Section 482 of BNSS is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.116 dated 26.12.2009 under Sections 409 and 420 of IPC registered at P.S. Lohian, Police District Jalandhar (Rural).

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 23.01.2025 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State Counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined investigation in terms of order dated 23.01.2025 and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In this view of the matter, interim order dated 23.01.2025 is made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Petition stands disposed of.
