Mr. Shekhar Verma, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab. **** SHEEL NAGU, CHIEF JUSTICE (Oral) This is second petition filed by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail after the earlier one was dismissed on-merits by this Court vide order dated 22.11.2024 in CRM-M No. 58316-2024. 2.

The only new ground cited by learned counsel for the petitioner in the present repeat bail application is that co-accused, Kauro Bai, has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 29.11.2024 passed in CRM-M No. 59700 of 2024 (Annexure P-4). 3.

Co-accused, who was granted anticipatory bail, was a woman aged about 67 years and there are clear distinguishing features between the case of the petitioner and the co-accused, therefore, this Court does not find any plausible new ground.

In the absence of any new ground, the present application for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner stands dismissed.
