This petition for pre-arrest bail, which is first petition filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of 'the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023', has been filed with regard to a case arising out of FIR No.91 dated 16.07.2025, for the commission of offence punishable under Section(s) 406, 420 and 120-B of 'the Indian Penal Code, 1860' Police Station Basi Jodhewal, District Ludhaina, Punjab.

Vide order dated 17.10.2025, the petitioner was admitted to interim anticipatory bail, subject to the condition of furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of arresting officer. It was also directed that the petitioner shall join the investigation.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2026.02.24 19:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document in compliance with order dated 17.10.2025, the petitioner has joined the
Criminal Misc. No. M-58750 of 2025 investigation.

The learned State Counsel has filed status report. The same be taken on record. The learned State counsel has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation, and that for further investigation of this case his custodial interrogation is not required.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions and the fact that the petitioner has already join the investigation, the order dated 17.10.2025, granting interim anticipatory bail to him, is hereby made absolute.
