(Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, to quash the seniority list dated 20.03.2023, Annexure P-5, issued by respondent no.3 for the Eligible Guest Faculty/Instructors of Applied Science (Physics) being contrary and in violation of the Order/Guidelines dated 14.12.2022, Annexure P-4. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case she is permitted to make a fresh representation before the second respondent raising the grievance as has been raised in this petition, and the same may be ordered to be decided within a specified period.

In view thereof, without going into the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the second respondent/Director General, Department of Technical Education within a period of two weeks from today. In case any such representation is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be decided by passing a speaking order thereupon in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receiving the representation. 6.

In case the order is not passed within the stipulated period, the officer concerned shall pay costs of ₹50,000 to the petitioner.
