(Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and decide request of exercising option dated 26.08.2023, Annexure P-4, to cover the petitioner under Punjab Civil Services Rules (CSR) Vol. II (now Haryana Civil Services (pension) Rules, 2016) in place of New Defined Contributory Pension Scheme. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.1 is directed to decide the pending legal notice, dated 16.07.2024, Annexure P-7, in a specified period. 3.
